Each bead is a Personal & Unique Creation

As a “lampwork” glass bead artist, I craft each individual bead in my home studio. No two beads are ever exactly alike. I create beads that are a reflection of my love of color, texture and design. I am inspired by my surroundings. That includes my dogs, my garden, the sky, ocean, weather and mood. I live and breathe glass and all its beauty. It’s usually the first thing I think of in the morning, and the last thing on my mind at bedtime. If I’m having a difficult time falling asleep, I create a bead in my mind starting with choosing that first rod of colored glass. I visualize the winding of glass on a mandrel (stainless steel rod), gently marvering it into the shape of choice,etc… Before I know it, I’m off in a glass melting dream.
